MyMind and The Good Limbo: Supporting your mental health webinar

There is no doubt that the Covid-19 pandemic has created a great deal of additional anxiety and stress for most of us. Dealing with Covid has been particularly challenging for people who have already been dealing with poor mental health, but has also affected those who have usually been able to maintain reasonably good mental health. Depression, loneliness, stress, suicidal feelings are among the most intensely felt consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic. But there is a lot of support out there, and much of it is free of charge.
MyMind Centre for Mental Wellbeing is currently providing free online counselling services to people who have been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic whether it's through bereavement, job loss, increased anxiety or depression. Support is provided by a team of qualified mental health professionals, and all sessions are held in strict confidence through MyMind's own online platform.
The Good Limbo was set up by a group of people who came together with the same aim: to create a place where individuals can find comfort and support. A place with people who may be able to relate to your experiences of mental health, and a space which provides a non-judgmental and friendly ear in a time of need. We are open 24 hours and are accessed by people from around the world. All of our members are at different stages of their journey. Some consider themselves recovered and want to offer support. Others are currently facing difficulties and are taking steps to work through this. Most importantly, all are welcome!
Identifying feelings is something with which many of us have trouble, and it can lead to a certain amount of unnecessary stress. But while feelings are necessary and adaptive, what do we do when they become maladaptive? Sometimes, we need to explore, talk about, and understand our feelings in order to make them adaptive again. MyMind and The Good Limbo have joined forces to provide this unique free webinar which will deal with this important topic of identifying feelings. You will also find out more about each of the services, how to access them and what you can expect.
Please join us on Thursday May 13 at 11am. This is a free public event and there will be a Q&A session.
Attendees will need MS Teams to access this event.
Registration is now open at Eventbrite.ie.
