About me:
Emma Cubitt is an accredited Art Therapist and artist with over 20 years’ experience in supporting people with mental health challenges. working with individuals who want to improve their mental health and begin to flourish. Emma adapts a person-centred approach to her practice, placing emphasis on the importance of the individual. She believes that with a willingness and openness to change, each individual can heal and move forward from difficulties and obstacles they have encountered throughout their life.
With additional knowledge, training and 10 years’ experience in supporting adults on the Autism spectrum, Emma's goal as a therapist is to provide a safe, non-judgmental and supportive space for all of her clients. She offers an opportunity to engage in self-exploration with the use of art materials to aid integration. Through active art-making and creative process within a psychotherapeutic relationship this will allow a client to gain more insight into themselves and their current struggles and issues.
