About me:
Approaches: Integrative, Humanistic and Psycho-dynamic Psychotherapy
Tamara Kuznecova holds a Master’s degree in Psychotherapy from Dublin Business School. Prior to that she successfully completed her Higher Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy. She is a pre-accredited member of IAHIP and works in accordance with the organisation’s Code of Ethics which requires the attendance of personal supervision. She has gained experience through working with individuals from families impacted by addiction, young adults struggling with stress and anxiety as well as a wide variety of individuals suffering from other mental health issues.
Tamara’s training provides her with a variety of theoretical frameworks from which she can draw upon such as Humanistic, Existential, Gestalt and Psycho-dynamic allowing her to tailor her work to meet the needs of each individual client. Tamara believes that each approach holds only a partial explanation of the complexity of the human experience therefore integrating these approaches achieves a better therapeutic outcome. As an integrative psychotherapist, she sees the individual as a whole and brings together the physiological, emotional, cognitive and behavioural aspects of the client’s life which provides them with the potential to understand the true origin of their challenges.
Tamara believes that her warm, empathetic and non-judgmental stance within the therapeutic relationship, creates an environment that encourages the healing process and allows her clients to face the future more openly and with confidence.
