About me:

Rachel has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy and holds membership with the IACP, adhering to their code of ethics and practice.

Rachel has worked as a healthcare professional since 2010. Rachel gained valuable experience supporting people of different cultures, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability and age.

Rachel meets her client from a person-centered perspective, with respect for each person’s life experience being unique and individual to them. Rachel provides a confidential, non-judgemental, empathic space where clients feel listened to, seen and heard. Client’s explore their personal reality and lived experiences and are facilitated to work towards their goals if they wish. Sessions are tailored to the needs of the client while Rachel draws on various Therapy approaches including Person-Centered Humanistic, Mindfulness, Gestalt and Transactional Analysis.

Therapy can be transformative in many ways, from simply feeling heard to making big and small changes in your life. The experience can also lead to gaining a deeper understanding of yourself and how you are in the world.

Rachel is available for short and long term client work, with individual adult (18+) clients.
