About me:

Peter sees therapy as a dynamic process of personal change and growth. Effective therapy is about helping people to overcome obstacles, to fulfil their potential and to live more satisfying and meaningful lives. Mental health and well-being come about as a consequence of meeting our emotional needs in a balanced way. Therapy allows us to identify goals, transform unhelpful patterns of thinking and behaving and make use of the powerful inner resources that we already have at our disposal.

Peter uses a variety of methods to you to think more clearly and feel better as quickly as possible. These may include the active use of your imagination to help you to relax, overcome past traumas and train your brain to effectively react to situations in the real world.

He holds an Honours Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy from ICHAS college, a Diploma in Human Givens Psychotherapy and is a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

Peter currently works with adults 1-to-1 and online to address a wide range of issues including:

Fears and phobias (flying, dental, animals)
Anxiety
Depression
Panic Attacks
Sleeping problems
Addictive behaviours
Relationship Issues/breakup
