About me:

Patrice has a B.A. (Hons) degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy from MTU Cork. She is also a qualified life coach.

With almost 30 years of experience as a third-level educator, Patrice has gained valuable experience working with young adults and more mature students experiencing mental health issues.

Patrice has voluntarily worked with a national charity that supports individuals experiencing anxiety, depression and bipolar disorder. She has also facilitated individuals undertaking an online life-skills programme that is CBT based.

Patrice believes that each person is unique, with distinct needs and preferences, therefore she adjusts her approach to best suit the needs of her client. She adopts an Integrative, humanistic approach using therapies such as: person-centred counselling, transactional analysis (TA), gestalt, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and internal family systems (IFS).

Patrice aims to provide a safe, non-judgemental and containing space where the client can explore their concerns at their own pace while learning to recognise their strengths, abilities and the potential for personal change and growth.
