About me:

Approaches : Person Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Humanistic and Integrative approaches to help bring about lasting change for the client.

Michael has a Masters in CBT from ICHAS, Irish College of Humanities and Applied Sciences, as well as having completed studies in Depression and Anxiety Disorders with the Beck Institute ,USA, founders of CBT, he is hoping to be accredited with that same organisation later this year. He has also studied Person Centred Therapy with CIT in Cork.
He already holds accreditation with APCP, Association of Professional Counsellors and Psychotherapists. He holds a BA Hons in Disability Studies, having worked for many years in the field of Disability and Challenging Behaviours.
Having worked in Outreach programs ,he is familiar with the many difficulties facing young adults today.

As a therapist Michael is passionate about the work he does providing clients with a highly effective therapy with the intention of empowering them to develop the ability to actively tackle the issues they face in their current lives.
