About me:

Mary is a member of Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP) and adheres to their Code of Ethics and attends supervision on a regular basis.

From a Theroethical viewpoint while her core approach is Person Centred and largely inspired by the teaching of Dr Carl Rogers, In keeping with this approach her work is largely motivated by her belief that each of us is capable of reaching our own potential if given the right direction, thus healing ourselves. Being an Integrative Therapist she also have the option of drawing on a number of Therapies depending on the clients’ needs. She has been working in private Therapy practice since 2011.

Mary finds that people come to therapy for help for a variety of reasons throughout life. Some may come for just one session just to talk about a particular issue they are having while others may have a more serious issue like depression or loss of a loved one and may attend for many sessions and continue to come intermittently for many months even after therapy has ended.

She is available for long and short term therapy for individuals and couples over the age of 18.
