About me:

In her own life Kerry has experienced the changes that can occur when feeling truly listened to, understood and accepted in a trusting environment. As such, she aims to create a calm, safe, and supportive space where clients feel comfortable sharing and exploring their issues. She works together with clients, supporting them in developing coping skills and gaining insight into their thought patterns, feelings, behaviours and experiences. She believes understanding ourselves better gives us more choices and control in our lives and with that, more opportunity for change and well-being.

Kerry has experience in supporting people with issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, loneliness, trauma, grief, loss, chronic illness and personal development.

She works as an integrative therapist blending aspects from various approaches to best suit the client, including person-centred, CBT, gestalt, mindfulness and self-compassion. She is continually deepening and widening her knowledge with ongoing professional and personal development. She offers both short- and long-term therapy.

Kerry is a fully qualified counsellor and psychotherapist with a BA (Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy (MTU, formally CIT) and a diploma in Social and Psychological Health Studies (UCC). She is a member of the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP).
