About me:

Jennifer Browne is a fully-accredited member of the Association of Professional Counsellors & Psychotherapists in Ireland (APCP). She completed her honours bachelor's degree in Counselling & Psychotherapy with the Irish College of Humanities & Applied Sciences (ICHAS). She also holds a bachelor's degree in Counselling & Youth Studies with ICHAS.  Jennifer works using an Integrative and Humanistic Approach when working with clients.

Jennifer has vast experience supporting others, both in a voluntary and counselling capacity. She has a natural passion for supporting and empowering others and sees every person as unique and of innate value. Jennifer is concerned with understanding the unique world of the client and supporting them in finding relief from emotional pain. Her genuine care and passion for supporting others helps clients to feel at ease as they explore their thoughts and feelings.

She uses an Integrative and Humanistic approach when working with individual clients and her practice is informed by a range of different therapeutic approaches including Person Centred Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness, Transactional Analysis, Psychoeducation and Psychodynamic Therapy.

Jennifer works with a client in a safe, non-judgmental and confidential manner and aims to create a collaborative, warm and empowering environment with each of her clients. The client is given the space to explore issues, feelings and experiences that may be impacting their lives. She aims to support the client in developing ways of coping and dealing with difficult thoughts, feelings, and experiences so the client can regain hope and nurture themselves in their wellness journey.
