About me:

Isabelle is a student member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP), currently on a passionate journey to become an integrative psychotherapist. Isabelle’s pronouns are she/her.

Isabelle’s sessions are a welcoming and affirming space where your unique experiences and perspectives are respected and valued, while you work together to make sense of how you experience the world. Her goal is to foster a therapeutic relationship built on trust, understanding, and collaboration.

Isabelle believes in the healing power of genuine compassionate connection. Her method is integrative, allowing her to tailor each session to your unique wants and needs. Her approach is grounded in Person-Centered Therapy, which emphasises the importance of a non-judgmental, empathetic, and supportive therapeutic relationship. She also draws on Choice Theory, a powerful framework that explores the choices we make and their impact on our mental and emotional wellbeing. Isabelle is committed to working from a pluralistic perspective, honouring you as an equal partner in the relationship and rooting her work firmly in ethics. Alongside her core training, Isabelle is regularly looking to deepen her understanding and expertise and has completed professional trainings in suicide intervention skills, understanding self-harm, trauma-informed therapy, domestic abuse, understanding traumatised children’s behaviour, compassion focussed therapy, empowering LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent individuals in therapy, and perinatal mental health.

You are the expert of your own life, and Isabelle is here to provide a warm and accepting space to facilitate your self-discovery and personal growth. Overall, she encourages you to show up as you are and will follow your lead as you let your story unfold.
