About me:

Emma has successfully completed a B.A (Hons) degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy with the Irish College of Humanities and Applied Sciences.

Since 2020 Emma has gained valuable experience working with a community-based counselling organisation whereby she provided face-to-face counselling and psychotherapy to a wide range of clients from diverse backgrounds with varying issues.

Emma believes that each person is unique, therefore she adjusts her approach to best suit the needs of the client. She adopts an Integrative approach using therapies such as person-centred therapy and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), bringing in psychoeducational and mindfulness tools depending on the client's needs and preferences.

Emma's aim for the therapy is to provide a safe and non-judgemental space whereby the client can explore their issues and concerns at their own pace while learning to recognise their own abilities, strengths and potential for personal change and growth.
