About me:

Counselling is a non-judgemental, confidential and supportive space for you. It is usually a short-term, more focused process, which facilitates the client exploring current difficulties. These difficulties may range from stress, anxiety, panic attacks, and relationship issues to dissatisfaction with life and the search for meaning.

Psychotherapy is a longer process and looks to the deeper root of a problem. Past emotional trauma can be buried deep in the unconscious and can manifest in anxiety, depression, and relationship problems etc. Exploring the past can bring emotional experiences into awareness and so throw light onto our current thoughts, feelings and behaviours.

Therapy is about addressing these difficulties and working towards meaningful change. As a person-centred therapist, Audrey believes, the client, with support, has the inner resources to find their own answers.

"As no one else can know how we perceive, we are the best experts on ourselves"- Carl Rogers (1959).

Audrey has a BSc Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy, a Certificate in Addiction Studies and is currently doing a Diploma in Integrative Adolescent Psychotherapy.
