About me:

Ann holds a BA (Hons) Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the Irish College of Humanities and Applied Sciences. Her studies included CBT, Integrative Therapy, Person-Centred Therapy Psychodynamic approaches, Bereavement, Loss and Grief, and Emotional Focused Therapy.

Ann is an accredited member of APCP and abides by their strict code of ethics and regularly attends supervision to support her work while continuing to attend CPDs and further education in the field.

Counseling is a deeply private and personal experience. Ann’s focus is to provide a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental environment where the difficulties and challenges of life can be explored, and obstacles can be overcome. Ann’s aim is to provide the support needed to take that first step towards problem resolution and peace of mind. Ann’s approach is integrative and based on the unique needs of each individual client allowing them to explore their situation holistically creating greater awareness, discovering new ways of coping, developing new skills, and allowing change.

Ann is available for both short and long-term work with adult and adolescent clients. She maintains a high standard of therapeutic practice by attending supervision with a qualified external supervisor.
