Andrea Nagy is a professionally qualified Creative Art Therapist and a Fertility Coach. She holds an MA in Art Therapy and in Psychology. Andrea is a fully accredited member of the Irish Association of Creative Arts Therapists (IACAT), and adheres to their code of Ethics.
She provides bilingual (Hungarian/English) creative art therapy services. Her integrative approach incorporates psycho-dynamic, humanistic, and transpersonal theories held within the art therapy framework. From this perspective crisis, illness and difficulty are placed within a larger context of growth. In her practice Andrea aims to facilitate clients to reconnect with their own knowing and wisdom when addressing their challenges in life.
Andrea provides a safe, trusting, non-judgmental and confidential space for her clients. Depending on the issue the client presents with the work can move beyond the personal to the spiritual, unconscious and archetypal domains.
Andrea’s approach to art therapy is guided by the clients however she may suggest ways of working or provide themes which offer a focus for the clients to begin. The artworks created in sessions are neither judged nor interpreted by the art therapist and are retained for the duration of the whole therapy.
