Emm Lynch received a BA (Honours) degree in Counselling & Psychotherapy from Dublin Business School (DBS) in 2021 and is an accredited member of IACP who works in accordance with that organisation's code of ethics.
As part of their degree course, Emm was trained in person-centred psychotherapy and Attachment Theory and uses aspects from all of these in their clinical work.
Since most research shows that a good counsellor/client relationship leads to better outcomes overall, Emm strives to meet each client with the three core conditions in mind, empathy, congruence & unconditional positive regard. They believe that each person has the freedom to choose in almost any given situation, and with focused attention to the mind, body, and the world around us, people can discover healthier ways of living that best suit their personality and circumstance.
Emm offers online and face to face counselling to individuals over the age of 18, in English, for both short & long-term periods.
Emm is an out and proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community & was diagnosed as an adult with ADHD in 2023.
