Service description:

MyMind Local enables individuals in the community, experiencing mild-to-moderate mental health difficulties, to have direct and affordable access to on-site counselling and psychotherapeutic support.

By addressing waiting lists and access barriers to mental health services at primary care level, we are working towards giving every person in Ireland easy access to affordable mental health support early, directly, without stigma or delay.

We are located in New Oak Community Centre. On your first appointment, the mental health professional will meet you at the door/in the reception.

Public transport:

Train: 9 minute walk from Carlow Train Station.

Bus: Bus Éireann operates two routes in Carlow Town on behalf of Transport for Ireland. The Community Centre is a short walk from Pollerton Road bus stop (CW2)

Parking: There is free parking available at New Oak Community Centre.
