About me:

Mary holds a Masters Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy from ICHAS

Mary’s approach to working with clients is person-centred, with elements of Psychodynamic
Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, CBT and Motivational Interviewing assimilated. She
believes that by showing genuine care and interest she can help clients to better understand
their feelings and reconnect with their inner resources to find their own way to move
forward.

Mary worked at the front-line as a healthcare professional for nearly 30 years before
moving into Counselling and Psychotherapy in 2016. She has a deep understanding of the
challenges of modern living and the day-to-day struggles we all face. She believes that
everyone has the potential to change, develop and flourish.

She holds a Masters Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the Irish College of
Humanities and Applies Sciences (ICHAS) and is an accredited member of the Association of
Professional Counsellors and Psychotherapists (APCP) and the British Association of
Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP). She is a firm believer in life-long learning and
keeps up to date with developments in the profession by attending workshops, courses and
conferences.
