About me:

Alicja holds a Msc in Psychology from the Jagiellonian University in Poland with specialisation in Clinical Child Psychology. She is a graduate member of the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI). Alicja has completed training on Solution Focused Brief Therapy and attended courses in the area of: self-aggressive behaviors, suicide prevention, social skills development and parental support and is still progressing her knowledge in other areas.

Alicja's therapeutic model is integrative, which means that she uses different approaches in order to fit best to work with clients' individual needs, difficulties and past experience. Her work is influenced primarily by humanistic, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral (CBT) and systemic therapeutic approaches


Alicja believes that when working with clients, the most important thing is to listen attentively without judgment and to accept the other person as they are. By this she hopes to create a trusting environment which enables her to accompany the client in discovering ways to improve the quality of their life.

Alicja is available for individual short term therapy or solution-focused work and maintains a high standard of therapeutic practice through regular participation in supervision.
