About me:

Wanessa Franco completed her degree in Psychology at UNITRI in Brazil in 2009 and she is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy at University College Dublin (UCD).

As a Psychologist, Wanessa aims to provide her clients with a confidential and safe environment. Wanessa relies on proven Psychoanalytic theory and practice to create the conditions to improve her client's outcomes and help them face the difficulties they encounter and move in the direction they want.

Throughout her practice, Wanessa has accompanied people in their transformation processes, helping them to face emotional difficulties that could have been generated in childhood and affected their lives.

Wanessa believes that her psychoanalytic experience should be built on a foundation of best practice. To this end, Wanessa attends regular conferences, courses and professional study groups to discuss the theory and clinical practice of psychology and psychoanalysis. These are efforts and investments she considers essential to improve her performance and better serve those who seek help.

Wanessa is available for short term and long term therapy in both English and Portuguese for over 18s only.
