About me:
Vincent Ryan is an fully accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP). He completed his honours degree in Counselling & Psychotherapy with the Cork Institute of Technology (CIT), now referred to as Munster Technological University (MTU).
Vincent provides a confidential, non-judgemental, safe and warm environment for clients to explore their issues and concerns. He blends a wide range of therapeutic approaches in response to each individual client’s needs. These approaches include Person-centred, Gestalt, Family Systems Therapy, Psychoanalysis, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Transactional Analysis (TA), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Attachment-Informed Psychotherapy, Trauma-Informed Therapy, Mentalization-Based Treatment (MBT) and Mindfulness.
During training Vincent worked in the HSE for two years as a counsellor and psychotherapist with the mental health team in the Primary Care Centre in Mallow, Co. Cork.
In addition to counselling and psychotherapy qualifications Vincent also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from UCD and a MSc degree in Cyberpsychology from IADT.
