Qualification: Master’s Degree in Psychology from University of Opole; Bachelor’s Degree in Gerontology from University of Opole; Postgraduate Diploma in Psychotherapy from University of Opole; Diploma in Traumatology and PTSD. Trained as a Group Facilitator - Advanced Facilitation Skills, QQI Level 6 Group Work Theory and Practice. Level 1 and 2 Clinical Training – Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
Member of the Psychological Society of Ireland and working under constant supervision as part of ethical commitment to work.
Marta has been working with MyMind since 2017 and is available for both, short and long term work with clients. Marta uses methods and techniques which depend on the individual client, for example CBT techniques, Mindfulness, working with Inner Child.
Marta is available to work with Adolescents from age 13; Adults and Couples.
Marta previously worked with addicted and codependent people with low self-esteem, depression and anxiety. She also supported psycho-social integration of people with mental health challenges and has worked with suicidal people and people who self-harm.
Marta believes that each person has predispositions and strength to deal with their problems. The role of the psychologist is to treat every client as an individualist because everyone is unique and has different needs.
Marta is interested in hiking, surfing and travelling.
