About me:

Laura is an Art Therapist whose humanistic, person centred approach goes hand in hand with a strong core belief in the ability of engagement with creativity to be transformative and to enhance and maintain both well being and mental health.

Laura is passionate about the role that arts engagement plays in well being within the therapy space and beyond. She provides a safe frame for expression, exploration and creative play supporting clients to connect with their own creativity and healing.

Laura holds a Degree (hons) in Fine Art (LIT), an MA(hons) in Art Therapy (CIT) and a special purpose award in Arts in Group Facilitation (CIT). She is a fully accredited professional member of IACAT and adheres to their code of ethics. Since 2006 she has been working in the field of elder care, education, mental health and youth work. She has a particular interest in maternal mental health including issues such as birth trauma, tokophobia, infertility, misscarriage and PND.

Laura works with children, adolescents and adults of all ages and is available for individual sessions.
