About me:
Kayla has successfully completed a Masters in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy with the Irish College of Humanities and Applied Sciences. Kayla has also completed a degree in Social Care with St. Patricks College Carlow.
Kayla provided continuous support to people in order to help them gain healthier coping skills for the difficulties that they are facing within their lives. Kayla is now working with both young people and adults, using CBT to help people create a happier life for themselves.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy looks at how the mind and body works by examining the person’s thoughts, feelings and behaviours. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, also known as CBT, is a goal-orientated therapy that examines the difficulties that each person is experiencing in their daily lives. CBT also includes learning new coping skills to help people learn different ways of managing their emotions, thoughts and behaviours in their everyday lives. Kayla is aware that each individual is different, therefore, therapy sessions are adapted in order to suit each person’s needs and desires. Kayla is a relaxed professional that provides a calm space for individuals in order to help individuals begin their therapeutic journey.
