About me:

Kathy graduated from PCI College and the University of Middlesex in 2014 with a BSc and Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy. She also holds a Diploma in Colour Therapy and Level 6 in both Adlerian Psychology/Counselling and Jungian Psychology and Art therapy. She is currently a fully accredited member of the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP).

Kathy’s therapeutic approach offers her clients, first and foremost a warm welcome and a non judgmental, safe space. Enabling the client to feel comfortable enough to be their most vulnerable self. Kathy offers a person centered, encouraging and integrative model of treatment. She firmly believes in the quote “There go I, but for the grace of God”

Kathy combines her knowledge, wisdom, experience and training to date to provide a supportive, kind and compassionate listening ear, treating everyone as wholly individual in their own right so that they may find the courage and strength within to change what they can, accept what they can’t and learn to live more creatively with what they cannot change.

Kathy uses a wide range of integrative therapies in correlation with the client’s issues and needs such as CBT, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Gestalt, Processing, Psycho Education, Dream Therapies, Art/Colour, the art of Mindfulness, Visualization, Meditation, Spirituality, Bio-dynamics with self care and stress relief strategies.
