Karolina holds a certificate in Family Therapy (IICP) and Couples Counselling (PCI). She also has completed Level 1, 2 & 3 of Gottman Method Couples Therapy and is currently working towards her accreditation with Gottman Institute.

Karolina is a fully qualified and registered psychologist, she is a member of the Psychological Society of Ireland and she attends regular supervision as a part of ethical commitment to her work.

She is available for both short-term and long-term therapy in English and Polish. She works with adults, children from the age of 10, families and couples.

As a psychologist she uses an integrative approach, combining knowledge from a variety of therapeutic approaches like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Systemic Therapy, Trauma-Informed Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy and Mindfulness.

Karolina has been working with MyMind since 2013. She obtained her degree from the University of Wroclaw in Poland, where she also practised at the Student Counselling Centre and Counselling Service for Children and Adolescents. She is a facilitator of workshops and trainings, especially in the areas of positive mental health, personal development, motivation, communication and relationships. Since 2018 she regularly offers a marriage preparation course for couples.

Karolina believes that people have the ability and strength to work through challenges they are facing, when provided with the time and support needed. She works together with her clients to choose the approach best suited to their needs. She shares her knowledge and provides clients with various methods and techniques when relevant. Karolina’s priority is to create an emphatic, non-judgmental and safe relationship with her clients to enable them to overcome their difficulties and reach full potential.
