About me:

Jean is currently in her final/fourth year of a BA (Hons) Counselling and Psychotherapy and is a pre-accredited member of Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
Jean has also complete training in Children First and LivingWorks suicide prevention.

Jean’s approach to psychotherapy is humanistic and integrative based largely on Person Centred principles with elements of Transactional Analysis; Internal Family Systems; Gestalt; and Cognitive Behavourial Therapy.

Jean strongly believes that therapy is the client’s space at the client’s pace with particular value placed on the therapeutic relationship. For Her therapy is about increasing self-awareness and conscious choice-making for greater well-being. Jean is particularly interested in working with clients with disordered eating and survivors of trauma and abuse.

Jean is available for both short term, solution-focused work and long term work with adults 18+.

Jean has experience in the following:
- Anxiety
- Depression
