About me:
Elisabeth’s approach is Integrative incorporating Humanistic, CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), ACT (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy), Choice Theory and Solution-Focused models.
Elisabeth is a fully qualified therapist having over fourteen years experience in the field. She is an accredited member of APCP (Association Professional Counsellors & Psychotherapists), a private member of BACP (British Association Counsellors and Psychotherapists) and practices within the Code of Ethics of both these organisations. She also holds qualifications as a Couples Therapist, Personal & Executive Life Coach and an Integrative Clinical Supervisor.
As a primarily Rogerian/Humanistic therapist, Elisabeth believes in her client’s ability to work through and come up with their own answers in therapy. Using her theoretical learning and counselling skills, Elisabeth believes her role is to listen and reflect back through a professionally objective, non-judgmental and unbiased lens to gently support her client towards their own insightful best way forward.
