About me:
Clare holds a BA in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy as well as a Certificate in Applied Behavioural Analysis and is a Pre-accredited member of IACP.
It is Clare’s belief that looking after one’s mental health is as important as looking after one’s physical health, without it we may be limiting our capacity to live life in the fullest, best way possible.
However, making the decision to see a therapist can be a difficult one, it is natural
to feel nervous about talking to someone, therefore, Clare’s approach is gentle and encouraging and the sessions offer a time and place where you can feel free to talk to someone without the constraints you might feel with family and friends.
Clare works in an integrative way, which means the therapist works collaboratively with clients to learn and understand their difficulties and create an individual treatment for each client based on their wants, needs and desires.
Clare also has experience in the field of Autism and works with Neurodivergent clients, and with relatives who may be experiencing personal difficulties.
Claire is available for short and long term work.
