About me:

Claire holds a MA in Counselling & Psychotherapy from the Irish College of Humanities and Social Sciences, with a BA in Psychology from the National University of Galway, Ireland. This results in a choice of psychological interventions deduced from a strong academic background.

Claire aligns herself as a humanistic-integrative psychotherapist, meaning that she believes all clients deserve to experience a safe, non-judgmental area to grow, with congruence, positive regard and empathy. Therapy is thought to be a collaborative effort in this respect, with the belief that every client has the capacity to reach their full unique potential. The integrative aspect allows Claire to pull from differing schools of thought depending on the client's needs. Claire is currently a pre-accredited member of the NAPCP and abides by their code of ethics, within both short term and long term therapy.
