Caroline McNamara is a qualified Counsellor and Psychotherapist (BA Hons. Cork Institute of Technology) and a fully accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy. Caroline has also completed a postgraduate in addiction and substance misuse at UCC.
Providing a confidential, non-judgemental, safe and warm environment in which a client can discuss their issues and needs. As a humanistic and client centred therapist, clients are given space to explore and collaborate in their own own planning for change. As a gestalt counsellor, she facilitates raising awareness of thoughts, behavior and feelings in the present and explores how these may be connected and playing a role in current life difficulties. She provides short term specific and focused sessions or longer term depth work. She also offers clients tools and resources to help manage better, issues of anxiety, stress or depression, to build and create a way forward.
