Cara holds a Masters Degree in Integrative Psychotherapy and a Higher Diploma in Psychotherapy. Prior to undertaking her psycho-therapeutic studies Cara completed an Honours Degree in Marketing.

Cara practices from an Integrative Psycho-therapeutic base that focuses on the client as a whole. Creating a safe, confidential space in which the client can explore the challenges they may be experiencing. The sessions are lead by the needs of the clients. Cara aims to meet every client with warmth, empathy and support and to provide a stable foundation to explore and understand the clients processes. Cara’s training allows her to utilize a number of different therapeutic methods to assist clients including, Transactional Analysis, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Humanistic and Psycho-dynamic Therapy.

Cara has ample experience dealing with issues stemming from anxiety, chronic illnesses, panic attacks, PTSD and has a wealth of knowledge on Mindfulness and Intuitive Eating.
