About me:
Brona is a pre-accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and
Psychotherapy (IACP) and hold a BA (Honours) degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy
from the Institute of Integrated Counselling and Psychotherapy (IICP, Dublin).
As an Integrative and primarily Person-Centred therapist, Brona’s goal is always to empower
each client to develop and grow their own sense of uniqueness in the world through their
individual strengths and resources. Brona offers clients her honesty and respect in a safe,
confidential, non-judgemental space while together exploring and discovering solutions to
issues presented.
Brona is available to support adults over a brief solution focused or long term therapy.
Brona recognises each person as an individual and incorporates aspects of Humanistic
philosophy, CBT, Transactional Analysis, Family Systems Theory and Mindfulness while
tailoring therapy to the specific goals and needs of each client.
As part of Brona’s continuous personal development (CPD) areas of specific training
completed include, CBT Training for the Anxious Mind, Applied Suicide Intervention Skills
training, Advanced Training in Meditation and Philosophy, Domestic Sexual & Gender Based
Violence Awareness.
