About me:
Arlette Saavedra Kehr is a qualified psychologist, a member of the Psychological Society of Ireland
(PSI) and a Pre-Accredited member of the National Association for Professional Counselling and
Psychotherapy (NAPCP).
She obtained her degree in Psychology in her home country of Chile, and her M.A. in
Counselling & Psychotherapy from the Irish College of Humanities and Applied Sciences (ICHAS) in
her current home of Ireland.
Arlette has experience working in clinical psychology and psychotherapy roles in the public and
private sectors, with adolescents and adults.
She provides individual therapy sessions in either English or Spanish and works on both short term and longer-term therapy depending on the needs of the client.
Through humanistic and person-centred therapy, clients are given space to explore and determine
their own path for change in a confidential, safe, and non-judgmental environment.
She supports each individual with empathy, acceptance, respect and unconditional positive regard. With this form of therapy, Arlette seeks to create a space where clients can develop their own skills and find the
tools needed to recover and handle new scenarios in future with greater resilience and a healthier
way to react to them.
Arlette identifies herself as a lifelong learner, committed to ongoing professional development and
keeping up to date with new research and best practices in the field of psychology.
Arlette works with: Depression, Anxiety, Stress, Self-esteem, Emotional issues, Personal
development, Self-care, Relationship issues, Behavioural issues, Developmental issues, and others.
