Shauna McNamara has completed two degrees within the counselling field. She has a Bachelor of honours degree in both Counselling and Psychotherapy and Counselling and Youth Studies; Both obtained by ICHAS limerick. Shauna has completed adequate training in suicide intervention. Shauna works with adolescents as well as adults.
Shauna creates a safe therapeutic space to help encourage self-awareness and personal growth. Shauna is passionate about her client’s needs and tailors her sessions based on the client’s needs. Shauna increases one’s self-awareness through mindfulness and integrates it with CBT techniques to challenge beliefs and thinking patterns.
Shauna is a member of British Association of Counseling and Psychotherapy (BACP). She is also a member of the International Association of Youth Mental Health.
