Qualification: Pauline Burke has a Bachelor of honours degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy and Counselling obtained by ICHAS Limerick. Pauline has also completed Asist, Safe talk, trauma informed, domestic abuse and children 1st.
Pauline is a member of Association of Professional Counselling and Psychotherapy (APCP).
Pauline has worked in MyMind since August 2018, providing a professional confidential counselling service, psychological advice and guidance to both adults and adolescents. Pauline also has a wide range of experience working with Limerick Mental Association, Aisling (Youth Addiction Centre) WC family resource centre, SO Sad and Strengthening Families Programs, etc.
Pauline works with adults and adolescents from 14 years and is available for short term, solution focused and long term work.
Pauline creates a friendly, safe non-judgmental space to help encourage self-awareness and personal growth. She is passionate about her client’s needs and tailors her sessions based on the client’s needs. She uses mindfulness and integrates it with CBT techniques. Pauline believes in supporting each client to find their own innate strengths and resources to make the changes they want in their life.
