Approach: Humanistic-Integrative; Person-Centred Therapy; Psychodynamic Psychotherapy
Louise is currently working towards her MA in Counselling and Psychotherapy with the Irish College of Humanities and Applied Sciences (ICHAS). Working as a trainee psychotherapist, she uses a humanistic and integrative approach to psychotherapy and counselling. This integrative perspective allows Louise to adapt her approach to the individual needs of each client within the therapeutic space.
Louise holds a Higher Diploma in Psychology from University College Cork and a BA (Hons) in Social Care from Cork Institute of Technology. She is a student member of the Association of Professional Counsellors and Psychotherapists in Ireland (APCP) and adheres to the Code of Ethics set out by this accrediting body. Louise upholds a high standard of therapeutic practice with clients by attending on-going professional supervision.
