Approach: Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy, Client-Centred Psychotherapy and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy
As a Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapist, Liz focuses on the relational aspect of the therapeutic alliance which puts emphasis on the client and their experiences. Liz’s psycho-therapeutic approach is shaped by each individual client’s needs. Liz has a wealth of experience in working with diverse client populations. She also works in a Trauma-Informed organisation which specialises in Addiction and Recovery. Liz believes that each person should have the opportunity to have their story heard and honoured in an empathic and non-judgmental manner.
Liz has earned a Masters degree in Psychotherapy and a Higher Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy from her professional training at Dublin Business School. She has also achieved a BA (Honours) in International Business and a BA in Business Studies, Information Technology and French. Liz is a Certified Associate with the Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy (IAHIP) and is currently working towards full accreditation. Liz adheres to the Code of Ethics and Practice as set out by IAHIP.
