Approaches: Solution Focused Brief Therapy with Humanistic-Integrative modalities.
Katarzyna Sowinska holds a Master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Sopot (Poland) with specialization in Clinical Psychology and Crisis Intervention. She is a graduate member of the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI).
Katarzyna has gained experience working with adolescents and adults in various mental health and clinical settings. Katarzyna’s training background is in Solution Focused Brief Therapy. Her priority is to look at the client beyond diagnosis – to see a person who is valuable, interesting, who has unique own story, who has the resources to achieve goals and the potential for healthy, creative development. She wants to support her clients in their exploration and to provide them with a safe, emphatic, non-judgmental space to actively engage them in their personal journey.
As a humanist she is interested in the holistic understanding of human beings, as a passionate dancer – fascinated by exploring the interactions between body and mind – the potential of dance and movement as a therapeutic resource.
Katarzyna Sowinska areas of work include:
- Personal development
- Relationship issues
