Approaches: Psychodynamic, CBT and Schema Therapy
Qualification: BA ( Hons), MA, M.Ps.S.I. Kasia Musiol is a qualified Psychologist and a member of the PSI (Psychological Society of Ireland). She obtained her master’s degree at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poland.
In her work she uses a variety of psychological concepts. She takes a Psychodynamic approach, Schema Therapy, Gottman Couple Therapy, Behavioural Therapy approach enriched with mindfulness. She attends regular supervision and various workshops and courses. She has special interest in eating disorders and she has been actively involved in volunteer work.
Kasia works with people with all ages and backgrounds and aims to provide a confidential and comfortable space in which everyone can speak freely about their thoughts and problems. She perceives the alliance between client and therapist as a key factor in the therapeutic process and aims to facilitate a safe and confidential space for self-exploration and change.
She has experience working with children presenting body appearance, self-esteem and emotional issues. She held workshops for children and their parents in relation to assertiveness, interpersonal issues and parental issues.
Kasia provides therapy in both English and Polish and meets clients for a one-time consultation, short term or long term therapy.
Kasia is working with adults and children presenting with a variety of issues such as:
- anger issues,
- low self-esteem,
- personal development,
- sexual difficulties,
- eating disorder,
- co-dependency and infertility.
She also works on relationship issues including couples therapy, family difficulties and parental support.
