Approach: Humanistic and Integrative, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy
Jennifer Barton is a practising psychotherapist having qualified from Dublin Business School with a BA in Counselling and Psychotherapy in 2009. She has a humanistic approach to therapy but uses CBT and solution-focused approaches where appropriate. Her area of expertise ranges from working with those who are experiencing dissatisfaction, unhappiness, insecurity and anxiety in their life and relationships, to those who have been through a traumatic life changing experience/event. Having spent over a decade in a Corporate Business Environment and still involved with Impact TU on a voluntary basis, Jennifer has a special interest in dealing with people who experience issues within the Workplace (e.g. work stress, bullying/intimidation etc). Additionally Jennifer (who is a fluent German speaker) is happy to work through German for those who feel more comfortable expressing themselves in their native language.
Jennifer Barton works with adults presenting issues such as:
- Work-related issues (e.g. bullying, job insecurity, redundancy)
- Bereavement and loss
- Self-esteem issues
