Deirdre also has extensive experience in the world of business consultation and training.
Deirdre Hayes holds an Honours degree in Psychotherapy and is an accredited member of the Family Therapy Association of Ireland, (FTAI) the Irish Council of Psychotherapy (ICP) and the European Association of Psychotherapy (EAP).
Deirdre has lived and worked in several countries – including Germany, Denmark, China, and Singapore as a therapist. She has worked for more than 25 years with people, often with those who have had to face challenges such as moving country, or cross cultural relationships. Her approach is pragmatic, namely to deal with the present issue/s facing people, as most want to move on without engaging fully with what has led them to this point.
She has completed up to Level 3 (final level) of the Gottman Couples therapy training and is interested in working with couples who would like this evidence based approach. She works internationally as a teacher of therapists both in Denmark and Egypt.
