Approaches: Psychotherapy, Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy
Caroline Sheridan graduated with an Honours Degree in Psychology and a clinical Masters in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. Caroline is a member of APPI (Association for Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy in Ireland).
Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy helps the person gain a deeper understanding of his/her thoughts, feelings and behaviours, some of which may be outside conscious awareness.
Caroline’s aim is to provide a safe and non-judgemental space where clients can explore and work through any emotional or life difficulties.
During this time the client develops insight and self awareness which helps them to understand what is motivating their thoughts and behaviours and helps to promote change. Caroline is available for long term and short term work.
Caroline Sheridan is interested in working with clients presenting with the following:
- Anxiety and depression
- Bereavement and loss
- Obsessions and phobias
- Postnatal depression
- Relationship issues
