Approach: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Bruna Lima is a MSc in Behavioural Sciences, Neuroscience and Cognition and holds a bachelor and psychologist title since 2013. She has experience in a wide range of fields, being a clinical psychologist for 5 years. Furthermore, she worked also as a School Counsellor in a major school in Brasília, Brazil. Bruna has experience with psychodiagnosis and assessment in general, so she was an intern at the legal and national mental health system in Brazil.
One of the main passions of Bruna is studying and teaching about Psychology and Neurosciences altogether. CBT is an approach that provides grounds to it, because one of the goals of this kind of therapy is that the client becomes independent in a short period of time via psycho-education and that they can deal with their issues in an effective and sustainable way.
Bruna also believes that therapy is a life-changing experience and that it can catalyse ideas that would appear in a later period in people’s lives, saving one’s time, preventing disorders to evolve and increasing people’s emotional and psychologycal feelings of well-being.
