Approach: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Mindfulness
Beatriz Moreno is a qualified psychologist, member of the Psychological Society of Ireland. She obtained her degree at the Autonomous University of Madrid (Spain), and her masters at the Spanish Association of Cognitive Behavioural Psychology. Beatriz worked treating anxiety in women suffering from domestic violence, as well as with individuals dealing with depression and personality disorders. She is very interested in eating disorders. She has experience working with children, managing challenging behaviour and helping them focus and concentrate.
Beatriz’s training background is in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Mindfulness. She emphasises the importance of creating an adequate environment which empowers people to talk and feel listened to. Her priority is to reach a full understanding of the clients’ problems, goals and needs, and work towards them through an agreed treatment plan, with which clients can engage and achieve results.
