MyMind Video Series: Sinead Russell

In the next instalment of the MyMind video series, we talk to Cork-based therapist Sinead Russell about creating the right therapeutic environment for every client, and about the different qualities that are important for a therapist to have.

“There are many good qualities that make a good therapist. I think one of the most important qualities is empathy. I think if a therapist can really understand where that client is coming from and allows that client to see that they can understand – this is extremely important. I believe that having certain qualities like being a good listener is also very important for a therapist to have,” says Sinead.
